Delete Your Halfway Account & Data

Halfway gives you control over your account and the information associated with it. You can permanently delete your account directly from the Halfway app.

Delete your account in the Halfway app

  1. Open the Halfway app.
  2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Open your Profile.
  4. Scroll to the Account section.
  5. Select Delete Account.
  6. Review the deletion warning and confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
Account deletion is permanent. Once the deletion is successfully completed, you will no longer be able to access the deleted Halfway account or its associated Halfway content.

What is deleted?

When your Halfway account deletion is successfully completed, Halfway deletes account data associated with your user account from its active application database, including applicable:

  • Account profile information
  • Halfway conversations and messages
  • Decisions and generated Halfway results
  • Commitments
  • Reminders stored by Halfway
  • Follow-up reflections
  • Structured memories
  • Journey insights
  • Halfway usage records associated with your account
  • Application analytics events associated with your user account
  • Your Halfway authentication account

Information that may be retained

Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial or transaction record requirements, enforcement of agreements, or backup and disaster-recovery processes.

Information retained for these limited purposes is not intended to remain available as an active Halfway account and will be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Third-party service providers may also maintain information in accordance with their own legal obligations, retention requirements, and applicable policies.

Halfway+ subscriptions

Deleting your Halfway account does not automatically cancel an active Halfway+ subscription purchased through Google Play.

If you have an active Google Play subscription, manage or cancel the subscription through your Google Play subscription settings.

Canceling a subscription and deleting a Halfway account are separate actions.
